Nigerian veteran actress Clarion Chukwurah recently mobilized other showbiz personalities to identify with the less-privileged children in Nigeria..The event tagged “2008 ENTERTAINERS STAR TREK FOR THE LESS-PRIVILEGED CHILDREN”, saw the Clarion, Jimmy Jatt,Emeka Ike, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, Emma Edokpayi, Felix Duke, Tinu Chukwrah, and other prominent Nigerians visiting various Homes in Lagos. Some of the Homes visited include Olusoye Compensatory Centre, Ilupeju, JWC, Mushin, Modupe Cole, Yaba and Heritage Children Home, Anthony. Apart from the entertainers, other notable personalities who were part of the event include: Chief (Mrs) Aduni Bankole, Hon. Funmi Tejuosho-Smith, Mary Charles and her singing twins-D’ANGELS, Kemi Otegbade and others. Gift items worth several thousands of Naira were donated to the homes. This is propaganda to repair her dented image. It's only in Nigeria that people use NGO's as a way of rebuilding their badly dented images and to gain financial reward.
